ILR Roles

The ebs: central ILR group contains the roles for use in the ILR module.

ILR roles

These roles are described in the following table.

Role Allows users to...
Administrator Full access to the ILR module functionality (that is: users with the Administrator role can undertake all tasks in the ILR module).
Delete ILR Records Delete ILR records in ebs Web.
Delete in ILR Manager Delete ILR records from all of the tabs on the ILR Manager screen.
ebs4 ILR Client User Access to the ILR group of the Start ribbon for the ILR module. A user is required to have this role in addition to any other roles in order to access the ILR module.
Edit ILR Records Edit ILR records in ebs Web.
Full ILR Data in Client View, add, and edit ILR records on the ILR Grid, ILR Processing, ILR Defaults, ILR Process Schedules, ILR Process Tracking screens, and Error Surfer window.
Run all ILR Processes Run all ILR processes on the ILR Processing screen.
Run ILR Deletion Process Run the ILR deletion process of ILR records in the Deletion section of the ILR Processing screen.
Run ILR Generation Process Run the ILR generation process of ILR records in the Generation section of the ILR Processing screen.
Run ILR Output Process Run the ILR output process of ILR records in the Output ILR section of the ILR Processing screen.
Run ILR Processes for Multiple Learners Run the ILR processes for multiple learners on the ILR Processing screen.
Run ILR Processes for Single Learner Run the ILR processes for single learners on the ILR Processing screen.
Run Report

Run reports for the ILR module, if:

  • Reports have been configured for the institution
  • Use of the role has been enabled in the Reports module (Edit Report > Security)
Update ILR Source Data on Save Access the Update Source button on the ILR Commands ribbon so users can edit records and select to save changes in the ILR and Aims grids in ILR Manager to update the source data in the corresponding learner and enrolment records.
View ILR Data in Client View ILR records on the ILR Grid, ILR Processing, ILR Defaults, ILR Process Schedules, ILR Process Tracking screens, and Error Surfer window (read-only).
View ILR Records View ILR records in ebs Web (read-only).
